(Public Relations Firm) - April 2006 to present

Worked on back-end PHP functionality for a variety of promotional sites, including e-card, travel-log and contest/sweepstakes functionality for PuppyTracksUSA.com, lightweight content management functionality for MomRD.com and NFLGetReal.com, a license registration module for OpenInventionNetwork.com and email invitation functionality for ReclaimDinnertime.com. Also set up and maintained open-source weblog software for sites such as DrLaundryBlog.com. In addition, worked with HTML and CSS development and maintenance for many websites, including Tummywise.com and HRworks.com, and developed content management modules for easy website deployment.

ViaNetworks Inc. - July 2005 through April 2006

Responsible for various projects for internal and external use, including a technical support help site and asset management system. Secondary support responsibilities include junior Windows system administration tasks.

CNN Internet Technologies - May 2000 through March 2005

Handled web traffic processing and report production for over 50 Turner-hosted websites, including CNN.com. Maintained and upgraded legacy Perl scripts, SQL loader files, report query templates and configuration files used for processing webserver logs and production of web traffic reports in a Solaris/Red Hat server environment. Designed, built and maintained the PHP-based Turner intranet interface for accessing web traffic reports. Provided user documentation and held training sessions for the reporting systems. Also held responsibility for the testing, verification and implementation of rich media advertising for placement on numerous high-trafic Turner websites.

Interland Web Hosting - August 1999 through March 2000

Provided second-tier support to web-hosting customers on matters involving setup and troubleshooting of web-hosting and email issues, HTML, FrontPage and Perl problems, and webserver difficulties. Responsible for managing fourteen to twenty employees per shift, and handling escalated issues and irate customers. Also set up a reference website for fellow employees, providing solutions to commonly-found problems.

Website Design/Development - since August 1995

Designed and built many (mostly defunct) websites, ranging from the very small to the fairly large, for individuals, corporations and charitable organizations, for personal or professional reasons.
